Pharmacuetics
The Department of Pharmacuetics undertakes the preparation, evaluation and packing of different formulations like tablets, capsules, liquid dosage forms, injectables, etc. , and their quality control studies. The department has well furnished laboratories with modern equipments that includes Dissolution Apparatus, Disintegration Apparatus, Fluid Bed Dryer, Tablet Punching & Coating Machine, Reynold Viscometer, etc.
The department focuses on developing novel drug delivery systems, sustain release, and controlled release formulations. It carries out pre-formulation studies, stability, and accelerated stability studies.
The department teaches various subjects such as General Pharmacy, Physical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacuetics, Industrial Pharmacy, Bio-pharmaceutics, and Pharmacokinetics.
