Research

Research at the Dr. KNMIPER is among the highest quality in the nation. We involve in novel investigations in the general areas of pharmacology/toxicology, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics and pharmacognosy. The institute possesses enriched updated library, fully equipped laboratories and highly qualified faculties.

The institutional research at the postgraduate level is carried out in collaboration with National Cancer Institute, USA, Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) Lucknow, Ranbaxy India Ltd. Gurgaon, Dabur India Ltd. Sahibabad, Jubilant Life Sciences Noida, etc. Research is ongoing on broad-ranging topics including cancer, infectious disease, pharmaceutical drug and development. In Pharmaceutical chemistry department, involve in developing anti-cancer, anti-convulsant, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-bacterial etc., compound. More than 30 research faculty utilize their skill and knowledge to provide outstanding training and guidance to more than 1000 graduate and postgraduate students. In 2012, more than 20 novel compounds selected by NCI, USA for anti-cancer screening.

Student and Faculty member publishes more than 100 research article and review.
